**Duty Manager - Food & Beverage at Hyatt House South Melbourne**

An exciting pre-opening opportunity exists for a Duty Manager - Food & Beverage to join our team at Hyatt House South Melbourne. This role offers the unique chance to be part of launching the Hyatt House brand in Australia, with the hotel scheduled to open at the beginning of 2025. Based on site in South Melbourne, the Duty Manager - Food & Beverage will help build, coach and lead a team of motivated and passionate hospitality professionals. This is a great opportunity in a pre-opening team for someone who is willing to contribute in successfully setting up finance department and enthusiastic about learning/acquiring new skills.
- Run and manage shifts in all outlets as required
- To focus on guests and team member satisfaction and constantly looking at ways to improve the guest and team member experience via feedback channels
- Assist with the onboarding, training and development of team members, and implementation of training programs
- To monitor promotional tracking and reporting in a timely matter
- Ensure guest complaints are handled and communicated in a timely and satisfactory manner.

**Qualifications**:
**Your background**:
To be successful in this role you will require the following attributes:

- Previous proven managerial experience in a premium restaurant or 5 star-hotel
- A current Victorian RSA Certificate
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, train and motivate team members
- A true foodie, with sound Victorian product knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement learning and development strategies and programs
- The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
