**About the Role**
We have an opportunity for a part-time Marketing and Events Coordinator (20 hours per week) to support the ILS Marketing Plan and Event Calendar. This role will collaborate with internal teams and partners to execute approved marketing activities and organisational events. This role is responsible for event administration and execution across the ILS network, ensuring professional representation of ILS at all touchpoints.
**Responsibilities of the Role**
- **Event Coordination**_
- Manage event/trade show planning and execution, with the support of CMO to drive event calendar.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to formulate event concepts, plans and communication plans to promote ILS events.
- Manage venue bookings, communication, and scheduling.
- Manage ILS corporate events including Christmas parties and ILS celebrations as requested by HR department
- Manage and track movement of ILS event assets
- **Retail Marketing Coordination**_
- Be the point of contact into Marketing for retail marketing requests, ensuring timely response and execution of requests.
- Execute communication strategy and plan for store openings and re-branding/integrations
- Execute retail marketing campaigns and activities as required to drive awareness and foot-traffic into our retail stores
- Support store-led store activations, including open days and promotions
- Collaborate with visual merchandiser to ensure best in class branded in-store experience supporting the creation of in-store materials
- Manage ordering and distribution of printed materials and merchandise across the ILS Group
- Coordinate Christmas cards and gifts across the ILS group
- Internal communications support as requested
- **Social Media & Content Support**_
- Coordinate social media calendars, ensuring timely posting to ILS pages
- Support the creation of content, writing social media posts and copy for marketing materials as needed
- Ensure written content is accurate, grammatically correct and written in alignment with ILS brand
- Support monitoring of social media channels as required
**About You**
- 2+ years’ experience in event management, marketing and communications, journalism, admin, or social media - previous experience managing events viewed favourably
- Proficient in digital platforms, and able to pick up new systems with ease
- Strong administration skills and attention to detail. Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
- Effective communication and writing skills, with the ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Creative spirit, with a focus on continual improvement and innovative ideas
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
