**Introduction**:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Mulpha Events own and deliver some of Australia’s most loved events. From Australia’s largest boating showcases - the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and the Sydney International Boat Show - to food and wine festivals, live music, outdoor and lifestyle events, product launches and corporate conferences.
In this role you will support the Marketing Manager - Events to deliver on the marketing, brand, public relations, and communications strategies for the various events within the Mulpha Events portfolio, with the aim to grow the business, maximise outcomes, increase visitation, sales and exposure for all events and partnerships.
Key responsibilities will include
Implement planned marketing campaigns, special events and activations for each event.
Coordinate the production and distribution of advertising across all mediums including print, digital, outdoor, TV and radio.
Coordinate the production and distribution of printed marketing materials including flyers, posters, banners and magazines.
Coordinate and drive marketing and promotional activations with partner organisations including ticketing, event partners and sponsors and event precincts.
Coordinate cross promotions with MAL’s brands, other events, government, and tourism organisations.
Create content for all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube which improves engagement, followers and brand presence.
Report on campaign analytics and effectiveness against objectives.
Design, create content and schedule all eDMs
Manage and maintain all event websites including content updates and monitoring analytics.
Work with Marketing Manager, Brand & Digital and Web Development team to ensure event websites are up to date, optimised and efficient.
Coordinate the briefing and production of event marketing collateral and assets through third-party agencies and/ or internal Graphic Designers.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Minimum 2-3 years’ previous experience in a marketing role.
Experience in digital, online and social media marketing with a strong technical understanding of online platforms.
Event marketing experience highly desirable
Strong B2C and B2B copywriting skills.
Demonstrated visual content creation in the form of photography and videography.
Graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and Canva.
Demonstrated understanding of marketing concepts and principles.
