PMO Lead

**About the Opportunity**

Reporting directly to the Program Director for Core Banking, the PMO Lead for Core Banking Modernisation is a critical hands on, multi-skilled senior leadership role.

This role will be responsible for all PMO aspects under the Core Banking Modernisation program for ING Australia. As a result, we are looking for a forward-thinking approach to program governance, reporting, pipeline management, prioritisation, benefits mapping, quality assurance, risk reporting and program performance.

This role is critical in shaping the future of banking for ING Australia with end-to-end reporting accountability for orchestrating the delivery of complex change under ING Australia’s largest transformation program. As such, you will work closely with a wide range of local and global stakeholders, help accelerate strategic outcomes whist ensuring executional certainty and adherence to transformation methodologies and framework.

**What you’ll do**
- Provide accurate, timely and regular communication of program status, integrated schedule & timeline status, budget/forecast status, workforce planning requirements, dependency mapping, risks and issues register, escalating appropriately.
- Reporting including regular updates to both local and global ING business stakeholders up to board level.
- Establish Core Banking program governance and committee structures, with a focus on program status reporting and key decisions required.
- Oversight and facilitation of end-to-end procurement engagements
- Effectively builds relationships with cross-functional team members, sponsors, key stakeholders, executives, and other individuals or organisations.
- Facilitate and lead in-flight program reviews, making recommendations for actions, capturing and sharing learning and following up on implementation improvements.
- Support the Program Director to ensure a coordinated delivery of outcomes by managing program interdependencies, constraints, and resource allocations.

**What we’re looking for**
- Experience in delivering large scale transformation programs.
- 5+ years PMO experience, with a demonstrated understanding of associated key disciplines. Finance or Tech background preferred
- Relevant Project Management Certification (PMI, Prince2, AIPM).
- Demonstrated experience utilising both agile and waterfall methodologies to successfully deliver projects.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate and influence appropriately at all levels of the organisation.
- Advanced user of MS Suite and other related technologies (e.g. PPT, Project, Visio, Excel, etc.)
