**Your new role**

Remediation Management is a new capability within Fund Services and the Remediation Delivery Manager will be a key contributor to the design, development and embedding of a scalable, simple and repeatable approaches to deliver appropriate and sustainable remediation outcomes for members and the Fund. The methods, approaches and oversight must support the Fund’s compliance with RG277 and other regulatory obligations.

In this 12 month contract you will be expected to have experience in leading businesses through complex and large remediations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of one or more remediations simultaneously with a focus on delivering for the Member-centricity.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

- Manage the scoping, planning and execution of the remediation end to end.
- Plan all remediation activities, including formulating a detailed project plan which including high level milestones.
- Analyse incidents and provide guidance to wider team to assist in forming a view on scoping, methodology, member communication and payment approaches.
- Document problem statements, consider the factors and present recommendations to stakeholders and deliver solutions.
- Provide clear guidance and coaching to team and review all work that has been completed to ensure high quality documentation is produced and it is in line with RG277 and other regulatory obligations.
- Define and table remediation and compensation methodology for decision ensuring it includes meticulously documenting rationale for decisions to evidence our requirements under RG277 and results in remediating our members honestly, efficiently, and fairly.
- Identify and agree the resourcing and internal capabilities to enable delivery.
- Regularly confirms with the Remediation Sponsor expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery timelines, and Member outcomes are being met.
- Executes the remediation according to the agreed delivery plan.
- Works effectively with project team members to execute the plan successfully.
- Provides insightful reporting to relevant governance forums with clear calls to action.
- Monitors and controls performance against planning and follows the accepted change management process for all changes to budgets, time and scope.
- Establishes a communication schedule and operating cadence to update stakeholders on progress.
- Manages Remediation Sponsor and stakeholder interactions.
- Evaluates all key deliverables, as well as final product to ensure traceability of requirements, high quality and sponsor acceptance.
- Undertakes post implementation reviews, shares learnings, and suggests actions to continuously improve.

**What you’ll need**
- Significant experience as a project or stream lead on a complex or large remediation initiative.
- Proven ability to utilize strong project disciplines in both agile and waterfall dependent on the level of uncertainty.
- Significant experience in working under pressure, setting and manage conflicting priorities and meeting specified timeframes.
- Developed stakeholder relationship skills, including ability to initiate, maintain and develop relationships with staff from all levels of the Fund.
- High level facilitation skills and capable management of group dynamics that lead to the effective facilitation, guidance and negotiation of successful outcomes.
- Ability to formulate reports and to provide well considered options for deliberation by management.
- Professional project management and change management expertise.
- Tertiary degree in business, finance or IT from a recognized tertiary institution - desirable.
