The **Grain Marketing & Supply Chain Manager** will have the unique opportunity to assess new strategic opportunities in terms of Grain Marketing, Risk Management, Supply Chain and Procurement. This could mean that you upgrade the current strategies or look at alternative strategies.

The role reports directly to the COO who has been with the business for 7.5 years, starting out in Grain Marketing & Procurement. Their management style is consultative, supportive and empowering. You will be given full ownership of your role. _Ideally you are located in Victoria, but open to applicants from across Australia. Full-time or 4 days a week._

**What the Grain Marketing & Supply Chain Manager does**
- Oversee and effectively manage the grain marketing and price risk management functions of the business.
- Develop and maintain relationships with a range of grain buyers, customers and end users.
- Identify and assess opportunities to increase returns through grain supply chains and identify and manage internal / external issues that may impact the organisation.
- Lead and manage storage and logistics relationships and agreements, including annual reviews. Develop methodologies to measure and report effectiveness.
- Identify and deliver return-optimising supply chain initiatives, reflective of the regional value creation available across the portfolio.
- Oversee and continuously improve Chemical, Fertilizer and Seed procurement strategies.
- Maximise scale advantages and benefits of national procurement volumes and achieve target of reducing procurement costs.

- If you bring **procurement** experience, that would be a preference, but not a must.
