About the Role

As a Lead in the team, you’ll play a key role in helping to support and deliver regulatory uplift (APRA CPS 230) and ensure that requirements are aligned with the sourcing plan. The role will act as the Procurement Business Partner and point of contact for procurement into the CPS 230 program:
Ensuring that the uplift plan/processes are well designed, aligned with CPS 230 stream requirements appropriately prioritised and aligned with longer term category strategy
Supporting development of uplift requirements in line with short to medium term sourcing plan and providing forecast of regulatory change for key negotiations and categories
leading complex uplifts as well as helping negotiate balanced risk positions across in scope contracts and ensuring any cost and risk impacts are well understood

What will your day look like?

**This role is accountable for**:
Developing the sourcing plan across procurement for key regulatory programs including CPS 230 to identify uplift requirements against current contracts, to optimise timing of negotiations and points of leverage
Advising on appropriate commercial considerations in consultation with category managers, risk domains, legal and TPRM based on ANZ risk appetite, ensuring that any increase in cost to serve is well understood and built into forward guidance with finance.
Support development playbook streamlined uplift processes for business areas to establish, document and evidence diligence on contracts across buying channels (low touch purchasing to high touch sourcing)
Facilitating procurement governance working closely with relevant functions where CPS 230 squad or other business areas that may be executing their own variations to ensure alignment with sourcing and purchasing standard.
Build trusted relationships with key Business and Functional stakeholders, and broker relationships for other teams who have like stakeholders across the business.
Help share bright spots and elevate Procurement brand with these Program/Divisions/BU’s across Procurement and Finance

Understand associated key risks and appropriate control options
Strong compliance and risk management knowledge
Strong commercial acumen, experience managing large deals, ability to work with procurement data to produce meaningful insights
Results orientated
Adept at deploying program management frameworks within a sourcing context
Understanding of broader business context and translating into key priorities for Procurement to support
Understanding supply market dynamics, Third Party Risk landscape, external leading practice, market trends relevant to spend areas
Understanding of end to end procurement lifecycle management across Strategy, Source to Contract, Supplier Relationship Management through to Req. to Pay
