**About the Role**:
Reporting to the head of Procurement, this is a pivotal role within our Procurement Team. As the Sourcing & Contracts Manager is accountable of the tender’s organisation wide, linking contract management & tendering, and SRM implementation in the business. This role has the main accountability for cost savings and value creation in the team.
- Drive sustainable cost savings and pursue value creation for the business to achieve significant targets set for the team
- Focus on building relationships with our suppliers and internal customers to deliver high level of satisfaction
- Develop and lead the team accountable for sourcing, contract and SRM through a period of significant change
- Have a relentless focus on security of supply, consolidating costs and improving the efficiency of our procurement practices including the mitigation of risk in contracts and enhancing value through negotiation
- Research, establish and implement best practices for sourcing, contract and strategic supplier management
- Provide commercial and strategic advice to the business in the formation and execution of contracts
- Lead the business to embrace new directions in Procurement including new project delivery models and contract structures

**About you**:

- Extensive experience and expertise gained through a senior executive management position
- Tertiary degree in one of the following areas: Commerce, Accounting, Engineering or Law
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in strategic sourcing, category management, negotiation, contract management and supplier relationship management
- Proven experience providing sound commercial advice to a Leadership Team on procurement and sourcing
- Knowledge of leading sourcing practices and considerable proven experience adding value during the tender negotiation and scoping phases of major projects
- Experience participating in a significant procurement transformation and have expertise with best practice procurement frameworks and technology is desirable
- Substantial category management experience and a demonstrated track record of value creation in a medium/large business
