The opportunity- Opportunity to work for a leading Global Insurer- Bring your extensive claims training experience, creative & strategic thinking to the Elders Insurance Business- This is a new national role, supporting the Elders Insurance franchise network located in over 200 locations across rural, regional and metro Australia
Your new role
This role is responsible for managing the design, programme management and delivery of Elders Insurance claims training ensuring all Authorised Representatives are appropriately qualified to meet regulatory requirements and company policy and procedural standards. You will also be fostering quality partnerships with key stakeholders and business partners, managing data-based insights and performance measures required to evaluate claims learning outcomes and drive continuous improvement across claims learning and development solutions.
You will;-
- Ensure compliance of claims learning and development solutions against company and regulatory requirements and performance targets. Ensure:
- Skills training for conducting efficient, honest, and fair interactions with customers is in place-
- Claims training specifies target audience and learning objectives-
- Curriculum covers all necessary technical components and policy interpretation, advice and compliance obligations, and sound and consistent decision-making training for senior claims handlers.-
- A structured competency framework is in place for end-to-end claims handling. There is differentiated role/experienced based training which recognises prior learning.-
- Embed a disciplined approach and methodology to evaluate the effectiveness of claims learning and development solutions using data-based insights. Share findings, and work with the broader team to implement continuous improvements.- Facilitate virtual and F2F training sessions to enable claims handlers a deeper dive and address their queries and any knowledge gaps- Mentor and build skills and knowledge within the team, particularly in relation to claims training standards- Support accurate and timely review and update of claims training-related learner guides, operating procedures and policies
About you
To be successful as the Claims Capability Lead you will have extensive experience in training and assessment within Insurance claims.
You will also bring;- Proactivity and a demonstrated ability to plan effectively and deliver to deadlines.- Knowledge of the insurance regulatory environment- Ability to identify effective solutions to support business strategy and regulatory requirements.- Well-developed project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.- Awareness of contemporary instructional design best-practice and human-centred design- An innovative mindset, flexibility, and adaptability (including able to travel within Australia)- Self-drive with a strong personal desire for continuous improvement
