TARGETED VACANCY - C Class Drivers Licence - current. - Ability to regularly undertake travel within the Region.
- Provide leadership and management of the CFDM program within the Region to deliver quality collaborative family decision making consistent with legislation, practice and program guidelines. CFDM aims to: o implement collaborative family decision making processes throughout the child and family system in keeping with the Child Safety Framework for Practice. o provide a consistent and empowering experience of decision-making and case planning/support planning for children, young people and their families who are involved with Child Safety from commencement of involvement. o embed decision making practices that uphold the Supporting Families, Changing Futures focus on delivering the right services at the right time to support families and keep children safely at home. o provide fiscal and other resources to increase and ensure CFDM processes. - Lead a regional 'team' of convenors to in delivering on the CFDM program. This includes human resource management, including supervision of internal FGM Convenors, including their professional development. - Manage the financial investment associated with CFDM including developing the capacity of suppliers to meet demand for external convenors; ensuring external convenors alignment with departmental frameworks; and contract management and professional support of external convenors. - Foster a culture and philosophy of service delivery, cooperation, team work, high quality people management, commitment to excellence and a professional ethic which ensures the Collaborative Family Decision Making team meet the department's vision, values and priorities. - Support improvements to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander family decision making and support for regions to meet the needs of children entering care who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, and their families. - Provide authoritative and specialist advice about the CFDM process and actively support continuous improvement of the CFDM program.
