Property Officer | Leasing | State Government | Immediate Start | New Position

**Your new company**

A highly regarded State Government Authority with offices located centrally in Melbourne CBD, is seeking a Property Officer (Leasing) for an initial 3-month period to assist with project and property lease renewal work across the state. This role is offering an excellent rate, laptop, and is seeking an immediate start in a collaborative environment. This would be highly suitable for an adaptable and motivated Property Officer or Property Administrator looking to take their next step up in government or a Property professional seeking a flexible working arrangement (full and part-time options are available).

**Your new role**

As a Property Officer, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the management of a large (and growing) property portfolio
- Assisting with the documentation and leasing requirements regarding lease renewals and newly acquired accommodation
- Assisting with subleases and licencing arrangements
- Maintaining and building relationships with key stakeholders
- Assisting with budget management and required processes
- Administrative tasks - general administration, document management, invoicing, and data reviewing

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Property or Commerce
- Demonstrated experience in leasing (ideally within a public sector environment)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use MS Office suite
- Current Driving Licence
- Ability to adapt and work in a changing and evolving environment
- Ability to work relatively autonomously and use initiative
