Your Opportunity
This position reports to the Back to Work Manager.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity, unless otherwise determined.
The position will be based primarily at Mount Gravatt however this is negotiable as you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities
**Platform Management**: Oversee the maintenance and continual improvement of the Jobs Board platform, ensuring it is user-friendly and meets the needs of students, graduates, and employers.
**Stakeholder Engagement**: Engage with internal teams, including marketing, customer experience network, Back-to-Work officers, business development, and external employers and industry partners to increase the number of quality job listings.
**Vendor Management**: Act as the primary contact with the jobs board platform vendor, maintaining a good relationship and ensuring smooth operation of the platform and a program of continuous improvement.
**Content Management**: Oversee, approve, and manage job postings, ensuring they are correct, relevant, and comply with TQ's policies. Serve as the expert for all jobs board content both online and in circulation.
**Data Monitoring & Reporting**: Monitor platform performance, job placement rates, and user engagement. Produce regular KPI reports and use data insights to suggest and execute improvements.
**Marketing Support**: Work with the marketing team to promote the jobs board to students and employers, helping to raise awareness and increase engagement through targeted campaigns while adhering the TQ Brand Guidelines
**Success Stories**: Create and collect testimonials and success stories highlighting positive outcomes from the Jobs Board, showcasing its impact and effectiveness.
**Internal Communications**: Manage a year-long internal communications plan to promote the Jobs Board to internal stakeholders, including educators, Back-to-Work officers, scholarships officers, regional business development teams, apprentice-employer matching teams, student counsellors, career advisors and the Learner Engagement Network.
**External Communications**: Manage employer interactions with the platform and support creative approaches to attract new employers to list vacancies on the jobs board, including strategies for cross-promoting TQ's suite of employer-related products.
**Job Seeker Support**: Develop a customer journey strategy focused on promoting TQ as the key support for job seekers. This strategy is to enhance the jobseekers' employability by offering valuable advice, opportunities and information on relevant TQ's products and services.
**User Support**: Provide an assistance and advice service to both employers and jobseekers to help them utilise the platform efficiently. Manage a dedicated mailbox and handle all enquiries forwarded from customer service officers. Liaise with the software vendor for any technical support.
**Manage the Pricing Model**: Develop and maintain a competitive and inviting pricing model that appeals and responds to large and small employers, ensuring the platform's sustainability and growth. This includes overseeing the employer registration process, verifying credentials (and facilitating a smooth onboarding experience.
**Compliance**: Ensure all postings and platform operations comply with employment regulations, data privacy laws, and TQ's standards.
How you will be assessed
The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across different teams and with external partners.
Ability to analyse data and produce reports, using insights to drive platform improvements and maximise performance.
Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.
Experience in managing an online jobs board platform, customer database, recruitment software or job matching service or similar systems is highly regarded, though not essential.
Knowledge of - and/or ability to research - employment trends, challenges, and opportunities within Queensland, particularly those with links to the vocational education and training sector
Exceptional skills in written communication, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and compelling content tailored to various audiences.
