2x Payroll Compliance officer jobs located in Ipswich for a 12-month temporary Contract paying $58 per hour

**Your new company**
This company provides water services for over 3 million people across the Ipswich, Toowoomba, Brisbane, Logan, and Gold Coast regions. They are responsible for delivering cost effective water supply, maintaining health of the catchment environment, and water irrigation supply for regional farmers. **Your new role**
You will oversee the payroll team across all payroll processing functions and develop processes and controls to improve processing capacity. You will deliver expert advice to internal stakeholders, provide support to special payroll projects and provide improvement recommendations across the payroll team. You will be responsible for payroll audit, compliance checks, advice on risk mitigation relating to payroll process and implement reporting processes to enable correct entitlement and payroll calculations.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will possess payroll specialist experience, exposure to payroll audit, a thorough understanding of payroll compliance and specialised functions. You will have the ability to work autonomously, within a greater team and the ability to quickly establish rapport across multiple departments within the greater business. You will have outstanding attention to detail, a thorough understanding of varying awards and the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities.
