Our client is a leading specialist courier company responsible for handling high value cargo. Each package is personally picked up and loaded onto a plane, custom truck or placed into secure storage before being delivered.

With 150 employees across Australia & NZ, they are part of a global team of specialist cargo handlers. They are a passionate group, who love their jobs, making it a friendly, family culture.

Located close to Brisbane airport, reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the end to end payroll of the 150 employees in Australia and New Zealand.
**This is a part time, 3 days per week role with parking.**

**Responsibilities and skills will include**:

- End to end processing of the fortnightly payroll of 150+ staff.
- Processing of superannuation, payroll tax and other regulatory payments as required
- Ability to interpret awards, the client uses 3 standard awards across the business
- Running monthly payroll and adhoc reports as required
- Setup new starters in the relevant HR and payroll system
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing

**About you**
- Experienced payroll officer, confident and owning the payroll function. You will be supported by the Finance manager should you take leave.
- Problem solver and accurate, problem solving should come naturally
- Able to build relationships and communicate effectively with all staff
- Employment Hero & Keypay experience would be good, but not essential
- Solid understanding of payroll processing, legislation and regulations
