As a key contributor to the national reform agenda, the NTC is accountable to Commonwealth, state and territory ministers responsible for transport and infrastructure who make up membership of the Infrastructure and Transport Ministers’ Meeting (ITMM). This is a dynamic role best suited for someone who is intellectually curious and enjoys the challenge of producing high quality qualitative or quantitative economic and data analysis under sometimes challenging circumstances. You will thrive on the challenge of solving complex policy reform problems and have experience in financial and economic modelling ideally in the areas of regulatory pricing of transport economics. You will have strong working knowledge of statistical analysis, a demonstrated focus on quality and accuracy, and have highly developed interpersonal communication skills allowing you to work effectively in collaboration with diverse teams. You will have an understanding not only of the technical aspects of economic analysis but also how to meaningfully translate these to inform policy advice.
