Project Support Specialist

**The Company**

**The Role**

KBR is seeking a highly proactive Project Support Specialist to join its team based in Canberra. As Project Support, you will be instrumental towards the success of major Defence acquisitions. You will be responsible for conducting research tasks and collating information to support the stock take of assets, providing support to activities associated with CoA capability acceptance, and activities associated with reviews and transition activities and procedures. You will work closely with the project manager to provide administrative support to ensure the overall success of the project.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Assist with project and contract management;
- Manage project files, proposals, collate file correspondence and documentation;
- Prepare project finance and commercial reports - including reporting on variances, trending and analysis commitments and expenditures and development of the project forecast and cash flow;
- Project scheduling;
- Organise, attend and participate in meetings, workshops and briefs;
- Maintaining the internal database;
- Procurement, invoicing and staff expenses.

**Experience and Qualifications required**:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

- Previous project support or project coordination experience in Defence
- Experience with finance and accounting
- Experience in procurement, invoicing and expenses
- Knowledge of CASG procurement and financial processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage varying stakeholders
- Collaborative working style, yet able to work autonomously
- High attention to detail and accuracy

**Mandatory**
- Australian Citizenship - mandatory; and
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
