Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Energy Market Analyst to join their dedicated team of experts. As an Energy Market Analyst, you will assume a pivotal role in analysing and interpreting market trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors that significantly impact the energy industry. Your insights will be instrumental in shaping our client's strategic decisions and optimizing their energy portfolio to meet the evolving needs of customers and stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and analyse energy market trends, encompassing electricity and gas markets, to identify potential opportunities, risks, and the potential impact on our client's operations.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to derive data-driven insights that underpin pricing strategies, demand predictions, and investment determinations.
- Evaluate modifications in regulations and policies, and assess their potential ramifications on energy supply, demand, and pricing dynamics.
- Generate insightful reports, presentations, and recommendations, all founded on thorough market research and analysis.
- Employ advanced analytical tools and models to forecast market trends, pricing fluctuations, and demand patterns.
- Remain abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and activities by competitors, contributing to actionable insights.
- Assist in the formulation of market entry strategies, encompassing evaluations of new energy markets and possible acquisitions.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Energy Management, or a related field. A master's degree would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience (X years) in energy market analysis, preferably within the utilities or energy sector.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with the ability to decipher intricate data sets and deduce actionable conclusions.
- Proficiency in utilizing analytical tools, data visualization software, and Excel for data manipulation and modeling purposes.
- Acquaintance with energy market regulations, policies, and pertinent industry standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively present findings to diverse audiences.
- Strong aptitude for teamwork, collaboration, and managing projects effectively.
