**Our client, a leading energy retailer, is seeking a Energy/Power Markets Analyst to join their team. You will be responsible for providing research and analysis on global energy and power markets to support the company's strategic decision-making.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyzing global energy and power markets, including supply, demand, pricing, and competition
- Producing high-quality reports and presentations based on your analysis, providing clients with valuable insights into market trends and developments
- Monitoring regulatory developments and their impact on energy markets, providing analysis and advice to clients on regulatory trends
- Identifying and analyzing emerging trends and technologies in the energy sector, including renewables, energy storage, and electric vehicles
- Conducting research and analysis of energy and power market data, using industry-leading tools and techniques

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy or power market analysis
- Strong analytical and research skills, with experience analyzing complex data sets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
- Knowledge of global energy and power markets, including supply, demand, pricing, and competition
- Experience with industry-leading analytical tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills
