- Translating customer needs and requirements, into realisable and commercially viable products, services, or systems and/or networks infrastructure.
- Designing, testing, integrating and optimising maintenance of specific complex network technologies, platforms and/or systems. Diagnose and restore assurance issues to ensure that networks, infrastructure, products and services work efficiently and reliably (BAU & Rostered).
- Contributing to ensuring that network components and systems interact with client processes and systems to deliver market leading customer experiences. You do this by using your expertise and experience of specific domain components to address related incidents, problems and upgrades to optimise network performance.
- Contributing to assessing capability of vendor solutions and offerings to meet business requirements and assist in managing vendor performance and technology delivery
- Developing depth / advanced levels of knowledge over a current domain by engaging in continuous learning through formal development, coaching and seeking feedback.
- Contributing to the development of technology guidelines and standards to be used by Chapter and/or business unit members in the design and deployment of network technologies.
- Using your sound interpersonal and influencing skills to authentically collaborate with mission or project team members and stakeholders to deliver defined work objectives.
- Perform after hours work on a roster system and participate in incident and security response capability for network infrastructure.
- Perform approved & planned maintenance changes where required.
Key Skills
- Network support, testing and configuration of network equipments: - Cisco, Juniper
- Sound technical skills in operating systems such as Unix/Linux and ability to script and code to achieve defined outcomes.
- Experience on one or more of the scripting languages (Python, Perl, ANSIBLE) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge on GIT (GIT control, version control) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of using ANSIBLE playbooks to deploy a bunch of Virtual Machines.
- Demonstrated written/verbal communication, problem solving, interpersonal, presentation and time management skills. Emphasis on technical communication
- Able to effectively work through high pressure and complex situations.
**Note**: Australia & NZ Citizen Citizens/PR Holders/ Work & Dependent Visa holders will be considered.
**Salary**: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
