Whilst working among a supportive team environment, your key focus operationally will be to partner with customers to manage your debtors ledger efficiently.

**Overview of key responsibilities**:
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team. Reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager and working within a medium sized team, the role will include but not be limited to:

- Manage a debtors ledger of approx. 400 accounts
- Daily allocation of EFT, Cheque and Credit Card payments
- Timely invoice processing
- Account reconciliations
- Follow up on outstanding accounts and overdue debt
- Review and set up new accounts and customers, including the completion of credit checks
- Handle queries with both internal and external customers
- Assist with reporting duties
- Ad hoc duties to support the team

**What our client is looking for**:
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar AR role, within a medium sized organisation, as well as the following attributes:

- First class communication, from both a verbal and written perspective
- High level interpersonal and time management skills, with a passionate attitude
- Strong negotiation skills with a resilient nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders / customers
- Desire to work collaboratively among a close knit team
- High level time management skills and a keen eye for detail
