The Banksia Tree is looking for a Venue Supervisor to join our team

**What’s the role?**

A capable leader, with barista skills, who can both give and accept feedback and understand the workings of a busy cafe. To keep all our staff motivated, happy and ensure the daily tasks are completed. To run the cafe smoothly.

**Who are we?**

Halie and Fabian own The Banksia Tree cafe and Restaurant in Port Adelaide and we are fast becoming one of the premier dining destinations in the west. Although we have over 20 years experience, we allow our team to do the tasks and we set the boundaries and guidelines to steer you in the right direction, giving our team to the chance to grow.

Work life balance is super important for us and so we offer 4-5 days 730-330pm, most likely to either be Saturday - Wednesday or Sunday-Wednesday. We set clear guidelines and KPIS and offer a lot of training to set you up for success and are very tech savvy to make your role as simple and supported as possible.

We can offer family friendly, flexible arrangements such a 4 or 5 day work week, and flexible weekend shifts on a rotating roster.

We encourage creativity, so you can have a say in menu items, specials, cabinet offerings and day to day operations.

Weekly managers meetings to make sure communication is across all team members.

Working with awesome suppliers, product and a great team. We like to reward our team often and we all go out for dinner/fun 2-3 times a year on us.

**what experience should I have?**

Barista/free pour latte art. 1-2 years working in a busy cafe. Previous people Management is a requirement.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week
