**Salary**: $100,000 - $120,000 + SUPER + CAR

**The Business**
AustCorp Executive is working in partnership with a leading supplier of customised transport equipment and services in Western Australia.

Our client is looking for an experienced Workshop Leading Hand to work in the servicing division. The Workshop Leading Hand will be responsible for overseeing the servicing of heavy mobile equipment.

**The Role**
- Assess mechanical tasks coming into the workshop for maintenance, diagnose faults and prepare a detailed scope of work, including parts.
- Effectively manage workshop personnel.
- Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within time & cost targets.
- Perform scheduled preventative mechanical servicing on heavy mobile equipment.
- Perform routine A, B and C services.
- Diagnose and rectify equipment faults/defects.
- With assistance from the Workshop Manager, liaise with contractors & suppliers to ensure cost-effective provision of external labour & parts.
- Ensure all maintenance or repair work completed is entered in the relevant operating system to enable accurate maintenance tracking.
- Provide guidance and instruction to technicians
- Promote & enforce safe work practices & adherence to relevant company policies & procedures.

**The Requirements**

- Heavy Vehicle Body Building Certificate
- +5 years’ experience & demonstrated capability in a heavy mobile equipment setting (trailers Preferred).
- Proven experience in leading a service team.
- Experience mentoring/training less experienced or apprenticed technicians.
