
HR and Business Coordinator

We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated people person to join our team at FAIR. As our AU HR and Business Coordinator you will play a key role in providing HR and administrative support to our valued employees and management team. This role will be predominantly HR focused but will vary depending on your experience, desire to learn and the dynamic priorities of the business.
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across senior business leaders, be a self-motivated problem solver and be able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced IT Consulting environment.
**About the role**
- You will coordinate the HR and administration functions working closely with others to ensure all FAIR employees are supported
- Act as a trusted HR representative to employees providing accurate, informed and timely support on a range of employee-related matters
- Coordinate and support the performance review process including managing communications, preparing documentation and collating and providing feedback to employees and managers
- Be involved in the recruitment process and support hiring activities to secure the best talent for FAIR
- Manage employee onboarding/offboarding to ensure an effective, efficient and positive experience
- Maintain a friendly and supportive relationship with all team members
- Drive team engagement by arranging events and team activities
- Update and maintain FAIR’s internal processes and policies and employee data
- Prepare employment contracts and correspondence relating to various employee matters, such as promotions, sponsorship, and terminations
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks as necessary, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to support the team and FAIR’s objectives

- Competent understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Ability to work autonomously in a busy and varied environment
- A bright personality with a can-do attitude
- Self-motivated with strong initiative
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Ability to build rapport and trust with employees and leaders
- Ability to communicate effectively across senior business managers
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the HR field
**Desired Skills**
- Experience in an IT Consulting environment will be an advantage
- Understanding of current employment legislation and FairWork
- 1 - 2 years experience in HR administration
