Join us in this **Head of Dredging Operations** role where you will lead the Dredging Operations team to deliver safe, effective, profitable and efficient internal and external dredging services, maintaining channel and berth depths within the Port of Brisbane and meeting our external customer dredging requirements.

**Strategic, curious and resilient: Here’s who we’re looking for.**
- You’re tertiary qualified and experienced in managing dredging operations and providing high level technical dredging expertise (TSHD and Cutter Suction).
- You’re passionate about safely optimising dredging operations and have a continuous improvement mindset.
- You have had experience contributing to new build TSHD designs and deliveries which will be key for our next generation of newbuild dredging vessels.
- You’re experienced in the development of strategies and driving best practice in relation to WHS, Environment, Sustainability and Quality.
- You build and promote a culture of respect, collaboration, accountability and contribution amongst your team.
- You’re flexible and comfortable working in fast-paced environments, across multiple projects and with changing priorities.
- You’re an effective communicator and great at building and nurturing productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- You’re experienced in managing commercial contracts, including report running & analysis, invoicing and forward planning, and have a focus on optimising profitability of operations and growing revenue sustainably.
- Previous sailing experience in a deck officer or Master position on a TSHD is highly desirable.
