**CarbonLink is seeking a Head of Sales to join our team.**
CarbonLink is a rapidly growing Australian agricultural carbon project manager. We work with Australian farmers to improve farm productivity & performance via the adoption of practices that enhance soil health and can generate Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCU).

**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Sales with an enviable track record and entrepreneurial spirit to work with us in leading and elevating a sales function within a SME B2B company.
You’ll work closely with the executive team to execute a growth strategy that delivers on our revenue targets through obtaining new business referrals. You will have knowledge of B2B sales processes and understand the importance of managing and nurturing leads through a sales funnel.
This position will lead a business development and sales team and you will have previous experience meeting targets through effective leadership of diverse teams of people. As this function matures there will be opportunity for further advancement by leading a larger team and to actively shape a company undertaking significant growth.
Crucial to this success is utilisation of the CRM software (HubSpot Enterprise) to drive measurable processes, customer engagement and forecasting sales for Board level review. You will liaise across our various departments and in particular will work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to reach company objectives and achieve measurable KPIs. Your blend of being process driven and a natural communicator will lead you and your team to meet monthly targets.

You will be supported by a diverse and geographically distributed team. So, you will need to be an inclusive, respectful, and supportive team player with exceptional communication skills.
This is a full-time role based in Brisbane, Qld. This position is required to travel and work on various sites, where we operate, to support the successful delivery of strategic and operational goals.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a sales strategy, plan and related initiatives
- Ensure that a data-driven culture thrives in the team using HubSpot CRM
- Effective management and support of the BDM/sales team to achieve KPIs and sales targets
- Develop expert knowledge of the product offering and value proposition
- Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and foster a quality
relationship
- Develop and deliver innovative and tailored solutions to meet client needs
- Work with internal departments such as the Marketing, Science and Mapping
teams to engage audiences and clients more deeply
- Always represent CarbonLink brand and role model company values
- Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders
- Uphold our commitment to the Carbon Market Institute code of conduct, and
company policies and regulations
- Contribute to the development of business systems and workflows, and
- Prepare and distribute timely sales analytics and reporting.
**Essential Skills and Experience**
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Advanced experience with CRM software (HubSpot preferred)
- Qualification in Environment, Science, Agriculture, Business, or a related field
- Self-starter who can work independently
- Working knowledge of agronomy, grazing, cropping enterprises, or agribusiness (desirable)
- Ability to build strong client relationships
- Exceptional communication skills
- Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Tech savvy, proficient with MS Office suite and online communication apps
- A manual driver's licence and experience on rural roads.
**Highly Desirable Knowledge**
- Understanding of Carbon offset methodologies under the Emissions Reduction
