**About the Role**
Our operational resilience framework aligns with the standards set by Australian regulators and ensures the BOQ Group can withstand and quickly recover from operational disruptions, including the unique challenges faced by the Australian financial market.
Our Head of Operational Resilience is responsible for supporting the General Manager Operational Risk and Assurance in implementing the BOQ Group approach to identifying and managing critical operations and business processes to ensure our organisation’s ability to prevent, adapt, respond to, recover, and learn from operational disruptions.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure critical and other key operations operate within set tolerances and develop a systematic plan to test and learn from plausible scenarios.
You’ll also develop strategies that align with regulatory requirements while addressing associated challenges and opportunities and adapt global best practices in operational resilience to the specific legal, cultural, and business environment in Australia.

Your leadership experience enables you to guide and mentor teams, fostering a culture of resilience and continuous improvement. You are proactive, adaptable, and always looking for innovative solutions to enhance operational resilience.
