**About the role**
Next Gen’s Finance team is centrally located in Adelaide, and we're looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join us in this support role. Reporting to and working closely with the Group Accountant, the Accounts Officer will be a pivotal team member in assisting Next Gen with its administrative requirements.
**What you’ll be doing**
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- End-to-end accounts payable including data entry and general ledger allocations;
- Assisting with accounts receivable;
- Supporting the Group Accountant with periodical tasks;
- Systems maintenance to ensure accuracy of records and database integrity; and
- Administrative and general support duties as required.
**What skills and qualities do you need to have?**
To be successful in the role you will:
- Have experience in a similar role;
- Be proficient in using the Microsoft Office software suite, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel;
- Be confident in your high level of attention to detail and accuracy;
- Use your initiative to support the Finance team; and
- Work efficiently and pride yourself in meeting required deadlines.
