**About the Role**
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for managing and growing our retail and commercial customers to achieve sales targets and service level agreements.
This will be achieved by promoting our brands, selling new product, instore product training and in store support along with developing new business opportunities to grow market share.
This role will require regional travel as required.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Prepare and implement a sales call plan designed to spend maximum time out in the field with customers to increase sales and market share
- Engage with customers with the aim of building strong relationships and customer satisfaction
- Alignment to Sales and Go To Market schedules and national campaigns
- Strong understanding of the WA Apparel and Footwear market, opportunities and competitor activities
- Preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly reporting (internal and external);
- Demonstrate leadership and governance in the areas of Trade Practices, Equal Opportunity and Code of Conduct with strict adherence
**What we’re looking for**
The desired applicant will have an apparel and or footwear background or strong Retail sales experience, in addition to this:
- Successful and proven sales experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Safety focused
- Commercial acumen
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to focus on understanding and exceeding customers’ expectations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
