Our client operates in the Financial Services industry and offer Investment & Wealth Management as well as Superannuation to their growing customer base with offices based across Australia. Due to a period of growth, they are now looking to build out their IT Support team by taking on an Application Support Analyst on a permanent basis to be based in their Sydney office.

**Role Overview**

***
This role requires a mid-level Application Support Analyst with a technical background and demonstrable experience of working in customer centric IT support roles to offer assistance in resolving issues for business users working on wealth management systems and processes across the clients platform.

This role will be responsible for monitoring the data that comes in from the vendor, investigating any issues and raise/sort any issues that occur. This is a hands-on position and would suit someone who is used to working in a fast-paced environment ideally within the Financial Services sector.

There are expansive growth plans in place and this role would offer a way into a promising company at a time that will lead to future progression and development. Any experience of working in Financial Services specifically in Wealth Management/Trading environments would be highly regarded but not essential.

**Skills & Experience**
- 3+ years’ experience in Application Support Analyst positions
- Manage support tickets, analyse issues and offer short term/long term solutions
- Must have experience working in environments managing multiple issues simultaneously
- Experience with SQL
- Superb communication skills are a must for this position
- Any experience within Financial Services would be highly beneficial
- IT degree preferred

Working in a hybrid working model with a mixture of office based and working from home (WFH) with a split of 2/3 days in the office and the rest from home. There will be very occasional weekend work but the role will be Monday to Friday 9-5 the vast majority of the time.
