**About the role**

Reporting to the Director of Data Strategy and Management, this exhilarating role sits right at the heart of the News Corp Australia’s Technology,Data & Digital team

As the AI Lead, you are the trailblazer, the champion of innovation, and the mastermind behind our incredible Hybrid model Get ready to unleash your creative genius as you guide AI ideation through to the thrilling moment of Go Live. You'll be overseeing the development, implementation, and deployment of mind-blowing AI solutions within NCA in conjunction with our delivery partners, propelling us into an awe-inspiring future

You will work closely with passionate cross-functional teams, at the forefront of this AI revolution, driving our strategic vision for AI initiatives that will revolutionise the industry.

**About you**
- You have a startup mindset and can understand the needs that AI will perform to enhance our human experience
- You have at least 5 years’ experience operating in advanced data and analytics environments, including team leadership and client relationship management roles
- A proven track record of managing and communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Experience connecting delivery outputs to meaningful business impact from scoping through deployment
- Experience leading and developing high performing and multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience leading teams with data engineering, feature engineering and/or model development using advanced modelling techniques (e.g. AI/ML)
- Experience leading teams responsible for deploying advanced modelling solutions into production environments
- You are innovative, always looking for new ways to solve business problems
- Open-mindedness, you’re willing to challenge conventional wisdom, question existing assumptions, and consider alternative approaches.
- Persistence, you demonstrate resilience and persistence in the face of adversity.
- An ability to keep trying, learning from fast failures, and adapting
- Collaborative, you have the ability to work with cross functional teams to ideate, create and innovate with AI
