In September 2023, we announced a new capital raise and our acquisition of the Foodbomb business to further extend our market-leading position.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with product managers and other engineering team members to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain backend (Python and TypeScript) components to implement AI-driven features across multiple platforms.
  • Drive the technical implementation of our AI-powered features, integrating with various LLM models (like GPT-4, Claude, and others) to create innovative solutions.
  • Productionise AI/ML prototypes from the Data team and make them available within our application.
  • Embrace a flexible, cross-platform approach, utilizing various technologies and programming languages as needed.

What you'll have

  • You have 5+ years of Industry experience in a software engineering role with a Product/SaaS company.
  • Ability to communicate and influence change through technical expertise, knowledge, and coaching is a must.
  • You are proficient in Python and TypeScript.
  • Practical experience working with LLM agents or pre-trained machine learning models from sources like Hugging Face, even if primarily through personal or hobby projects. You should be able to discuss your experiences and learnings from these projects.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
  • Open and transparent communication style and ability to communicate a plan to both non-technical and technical team members
  • Proactive "get things done" attitude - You love to regularly ship to production and see your work have real impacts.
