**About the role**
The Sustainability & Compliance Manager drives environmental sustainability initiatives and ensures compliance with regulatory standards across all facilities. This role focuses on reducing the organisation’s environmental footprint while maintaining adherence to national and state regulations related to healthcare infrastructure.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in sustainability initiatives and regulatory compliance within healthcare or a related sector.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and healthcare accreditation standards.
- Demonstrated project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Certification in sustainability practices (e.g. Green Star Accredited Professional).
- Experience in implementing energy management systems.
- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the _Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice)_. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment._
