Customer Service Officer needed to commence immediately

Your new company
An exciting customer service officer position is now available working for the Government to commence immediately for a 2-month position with possible extension. Required to work full time hours and located in the beautiful area of Latrobe Valley, the role of Customer Service Officer will be to provide a range of efficient customer services to support both internal and external stakeholders of the business.
You will be responsible for the following:

- Provide high quality service to customers.
- Assess customer enquiries and make decisions from a range of established policies and procedures, legislation and regulations specific to the role.
- Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of information.
- Undertake a range of administrative functions supporting customer enquiries.
- Be proficient in the use of technical equipment including detecting problems and making appropriate changes.
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative, information security and privacy policy requirements.
- Other Ad-hoc duties as required

What you’ll need to succeed
- Previous customer service call centre experience
- Critical thinking, problem solving and ability to use initiative
- Strong ability to navigate and use computer systems
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new processes
- Confident and resilient
