**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced **Support Coordinator (Contractor)** to provide **specialist NDIS support coordination** for a participant based in **Bekenham, WA**, with the opportunity to support additional clients remotely across Australia. This role requires expertise in **neurological conditions (Multiple Sclerosis preferred)** and a strong understanding of **NDIS service coordination and plan management**.

We are looking for someone who is **available to start immediately**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist participants in **understanding, navigating, and maximizing their NDIS plans**.
- Provide **structured and professional support coordination**, focusing on long-term care planning and connecting participants to suitable service providers.
- Coordinate and monitor **NDIS-funded services**, ensuring they align with the participant’s specific needs.
- Work with a **Korean interpreter (remote or in-person as required)** to facilitate communication.
- Maintain **accurate case notes and reports** in compliance with NDIS guidelines.
- Advocate for participants, assist with plan reviews, and ensure services are **responsive and person-centered**.
- Offer **ongoing remote support coordination** for other NDIS participants across Australia.

**Requirements**:

- **NDIS Support Coordination experience** (minimum one year preferred).
- Strong understanding of **NDIS frameworks, plan management, and service provider engagement**.
- Experience working with **neurological conditions (Multiple Sclerosis preferred)** and long-term disability care planning.
- Ability to work independently as a **contractor (ABN and relevant insurances required)**.
- Experience working with **interpreters or clients from culturally diverse backgrounds**.
- Strong **organizational, communication, and advocacy skills**.
- Must be located in **or able to travel to Bekenham, WA** when required.
- **Ability to support clients remotely across Australia.**

**Desirable but Not Essential**
- **Korean language skills** (highly regarded but not required).
- Background in **social work, psychology, disability services, or allied health**.
