As we expand our horizons, we are on the lookout for a skilled and dedicated Civil Supervisor to join our dynamic team.

**Role Overview**: As a Civil Supervisor at SLH Group, you will be a pivotal link in our project management chain. Your role will involve ensuring the seamless execution of projects, focusing on efficiency, safety, and top-notch quality. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead a team of direct employees and subcontractors, contributing significantly to every project stage.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implementing SLH Group's QSE management systems
- Ensuring adherence to Project Management Plans, encompassing Methodology, Staging, Safety, Quality, and Environmental aspects
- Managing and communicating project scope, seeking approval for variations, and coordinating works within agreed timelines
- Contributing to Methodology for Execution of works and participating in the development of Short Range Programs for Long Range goals
- Overseeing trade coordination, planning, and staging to deliver works within agreed program and production rates
- Facilitating cost tracking, adhering to budgets, and maintaining quality standards
- Holding subcontractors accountable for defects and incidents, ensuring customer satisfaction and relationship-building
- Leading by example to promote safety and quality practices, while actively mentoring and developing on-site personnel
- Timely communication of site occurrences, progress, and risks to the Project Manager
- Proactively managing risk assessment and addressing potential issues, while maintaining accurate record keeping
- Adhering to industrial relations protocols, site rules, and NSW Operational Guidelines

**Qualifications/ Skills/ Attributes**:

- Certificate IV in Civil
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Certificate III in Occupational Health and Safety
- Proficiency in Risk Management
- Self-starter with a practical approach
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead by example

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- Completion of Take 5 forms
- Execution of Site Inspections & Observations
- Effective mentoring and development of Site Operatives/Leading Hands
- Timely, accurate delivery of Scope
- Adherence to project timelines
- Budget achievement or savings
- Compliance with operational performance standards
- Communication of site occurrences to the Project Manager
- Accurate record keeping and documentation
- Successful performance in audits
