expanding our team and seeking an experienced and skilled Drainer to join us on a

range of exciting civil and infrastructure projects.

About the Role

As a Civil Drainer at Walcon Civil, you’ll play a crucial role in the preparation for

installation of below-ground drainage systems, including sewage and effluent disposal

systems. This is a hands-on role ideal for a professional looking to contribute to

high-standard civil works across NSW.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation, installation and maintenance of stormwater, sewerage,

and effluent systems in accordance with site plans and specifications.
- Excavate trenches and prepare underground infrastructure layouts.
- Read and interpret site and drainage plans.
- Operate equipment and tools relevant to drainage works.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and project teams to meet timelines and quality

benchmarks.

Skills & Experience Needed
- Minimum 3 years of full-time (or equivalent) experience.
- Strong understanding of drainage system design and installation.
- Excavation and trenching experience (preferred).
- Proven plumbing and pipe-laying knowledge (preferred)
- White Card and relevant plant/operator tickets.
- Certificate for working in confined spaces.
- Use of power tools and heavy equipment.
- Material handling and site logistics.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Physical strength and reliability in all weather conditions.
