Essential Ingredients.....

As our new business is growing, we are casting the net looking to catch a new member for our team. Our business is located centrally in Brooklyn Park just minutes west of the CBD.

Reporting to the General Manager of Commercial Finance Operations, you will partner with Cultivate in providing timely strategic and financial insight and advice, driving business and commercial performance and supporting the business with its operational and strategic business decision-making.

In a consultative approach, you will mentor, train, and influence stakeholders in finance best practise whilst providing recommendations and advice on financial issues in line with Cultivate’s priorities.

Other key responsibilities include:

- Partnering with the business to manage growth and improve profitability and future performance
- Leading and supporting research, analysis and resolution of financial issues such as: fee negotiations, product/client and supplier reviews, managing relationships with financial institutions
- Managing accounting function, including accrual accounting in line with the relevant standards, cost centre management, and monthly and quarterly reports
- Monitoring key internal and external parameters, and analysing the financial impact of emerging priorities, key risks and opportunities
- Support business case development with financial modelling and scenario analysis, and ensuring finance treatment consistent with accounting and policy standards

About You.....

With an entrepreneurial mind, you are excited for the opportunity to shape the newly established business, driven about growing business potential and passionate about bring financial success to the operation.

You will have strong exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes, strong analysis and modelling skills with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. A chartered background from production, manufacturing or food industry is highly regarded.

You will play a strategic role in influencing senior leadership through executive decision making and enable informed commercial decisions through sustainable and collaborative networks. You will gain a profound understanding of the business domain, enabling you to proactively recognise and address challenges, risks, and their corresponding solutions. Your agility and adaptability will empower you to anticipate and resolve challenges effectively and efficiently.

Other knowledge, skills and attributes include:

- High level of experience in financial management for large and complex organisations
- Experienced in financial management, budgeting, analysis, reporting and process improvement gained in a large, complex and diverse organisation
- Proven ability to use business and financial data to resolve business issues and questions and identify efficiencies and opportunities for the business
- Strong communication, and rapport building skills and experienced in presentation, negotiation, with ability to effectively influence outcomes
- Qualification in Finance or Accounting and ongoing maintenance of professional development in CA and/or CPA

For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Cultivate F&B:

- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
- Driver’s licence
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
