***What you’ll be doing in this role**
Our Wellness Officers go beyond basic assistance with hospitality activities, to work collaboratively with clients and their families to provide opportunities for social connection and build community.
**Your care work may include**:
- Providing quality, timely and effective wellness services
- Communicate well with clients with caried needs and backgrounds
- Promote the right and privacy of our clients, in accordance with relevant policy and legislation
- Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.
**Who we’re looking for**
- Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate II om Aged Care or Individual Support or an or working towards
- A good insight into the health, social or aged care services industries, with previous experience in aged or community care
- Assist clients with medication and recognise Health Body Systems
- You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
