**What this opportunity involves**:
You will be an integral part of the Defence team and directly contributing to the success of the Whole of Australian Government JLL contract, and will need to ensure alignment of responsibilities and accountabilities as set within the Facilities Management & Operations RACI’s. You will manage the facilities team, delivering relevant contract initiatives as well as ensuring consistency in process, systems and reporting.
Team ManagementProvide strong leadership and supervision of the facilities management team by building and maintaining an environment that supports teamwork, co-operation and performance excellence within team;
Mentor and enable Training of team members;
Actively manage the professional development of all reports; and
Assistance in the recruitment and training of staff.

Stakeholder ManagementProactively engage stakeholders to ensure that Entities expectations are met;
Build and develop effective Entity / stakeholder relationships across multiple levels of the organisation on facilities and services related matters; and
Key point of contact for facilities management within the Entities portfolio

Facilities ManagementManagement of facilities and services contracts required under WoAG Entities responsibilities;
Oversee delivery of Property Inspection Program;
Assist in the delivery of all reporting requirements
Co-ordinate and review disaster responses processes and assist with JLL Business Continuity plans
Manage any change control processes
Assist in the implementation of technology systems to support service delivery, and ensure the required reporting from the systems; and
Liaise with JLL Leasing, Finance, SCMP and Sustainability staff to maintain an understanding of the operational property portfolio.

Safety and Risk ManagementThis role has the responsibility and duty of care to work safely, taking reasonable care to protect their own health and safety and that of fellow workers and visitors and to comply with the requirements of the health and safety guidelines, policies and rules; and
With the support of the Risk & Compliance Manager oversee risk & compliance deliverables.

Site & Operations ManagementRecommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement Industry Best Practice operations;
Implement building procedures and performance measures and ensure they are always maintained; and
Management, participation and supervision of the afterhours service for the Clients 24/7.

If you're a confident self-starter, and you love building client relationships then this is the role for you You've got excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus. You adopt a hands-on approach to problem solving and can juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic workplace. You think on-the-go and can collaborate with multiple stakeholders with ease. Additionally you possess:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Facility, Property or related field
Strong communication, analytical, organization and presentation skills
Strong financial management
Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Building or Facility Management would be an advantage
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft suite of products essential

You will need to obtain a baseline security clearance to be considered for this role and provide proof of Australian Citizenship.
