**The Role**
The Property Operations Team in the IT Workplace, Environment and Customer Support Branch, Technology and Services Division, undertakes a range of property management services for the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and the Department of Education. We are a friendly, committed team that works hard, and acknowledges our success.

- Ensuring work orders are completed correctly and in a timely manner
- Forming effective working relationships with our many and varied stakeholders, internal and external to the department.
- Day to day collaboration with and management of the department’s Property Services Provider
- Provision of updates and reports on various aspects of the team’s work
- Other property-related services as required

The team works closely with internal staff and external contractors to fulfil the legislative requirements of managing Commonwealth tenancies, including our contracted Property Service Provider through the Property Services Coordinated Procurement Arrangements. In the first half of 2025 we are also working through transition of Property Services Providers.

- Validating monthly facilities management invoicing from our PSP and assessing works undertaken by or escalating issues with our PSP to ensure key performance indicators and service level agreements are met
- Reporting on facilities management job statistics
- Contributing to regular meetings such as accommodation and facilities management or WHS committee meetings
- Contributing to the effective transition of PSPs by 30 June 2025
