**The Role**
The APS 6 Procurement and Contracting Officer will undertake simple and complex procurement and contract management activities for the Disposal Services Branch.

Your primary duties will include:

- Conduct end-to-end simple and complex procurement activities (including advice, industry engagement, approach to market, evaluation and contracting) in compliance with the Commonwealth procurement framework, rules and policies.
- Provide guidance, advice and support services throughout the procurement lifecycle, including the coordination of legal and financial services.
- Review and assess commercial documentation.
- Develop and/or amend contract change proposals.
- Manage, assess and report on contractor performance.
- Perform contract governance and financial reporting activities.
