The Department is looking for an **innovative and experienced Procurement / Recruitment **professional to join the Devices Engagement Section. As a Procurement and Project Officer you will perform a range of recruitment and procurement duties including the management of end-to-end recruitment / procurement processes, stakeholder engagement, quality assurance, drafting influential business cases and contributing to the development of team plans and business processes. You will manage complex and non-complex procurements, help set team priorities and develop and implement assurance frameworks. You will manage also have the opportunity to manage a staff member and provide coaching and training to new team members.
The Devices Engagement Section is part of a dynamic and innovative team that play key roles in the regulation and evaluation of internationally and domestically manufactured medical devices. As part of the Medical Device Branches, you will contribute to the vision of the Health Products Regulation Group (HPRG) ‘Better health and wellbeing for all Australians through regulatory excellence’ and the wider Department ‘Better health and wellbeing for all Australians now and for future generations’.
