**Your next career opportunity**
As a Project Officer in Bids and Tenders, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the University's business development and innovation activities. You'll have the opportunity to work on large, mission-focused grant schemes and tenders, collaborating with academic leaders and business development professionals. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing high-quality proposals, managing project scopes, and ensuring compliance with University policies and external regulations.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- **Developing and Managing Tender Responses**: Support the creation of high-quality proposals, including coordinating inputs and authoring content.
- **Providing Expert Guidance**: Offer advice on tender requirements, University policies, and relevant legislation to stakeholders.
- **Collaborating Across Departments**: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including academic staff and government clients.
- **Ensuring Compliance and Efficiency**: Develop and review tender response protocols to maintain operational excellence and technical accuracy.

**You may be a great fit if**:
You are a detail-oriented professional with post-graduate qualifications and experience in tender development, possessing excellent writing skills and the ability to manage complex projects while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

**You may also**:

- Have post-graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Possess proven experience in developing tender responses and commercial proposals.
- Demonstrate proficiency in writing, editing, and project management.
- Have a strong understanding of contract and procurement principles, especially in government contexts.
- Excel in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships.
- Exhibit high-level organisational and time management skills, thriving under pressure.
