Our dental practice is seeking a committed dental assistant/receptionist to join our practice. Located in Imperial Centre Gosford, the practice has the latest in digital technology and a team of dedicated nurses, receptionists and clinicians.

As a dental team member, you will work closely with your practitioner to deliver high standards of care and support to our patients and their referring dentists. The role encompasses all aspects of general dental assisting and offers variety throughout the day. We encourage and support our successful applicants to develop their long-term and a great work/life balance.
- Prepare surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments and moving equipment into place
- Perform chairside assisting and stock control
- Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records
- Chairside assisting with Computer and Microsoft Office Skills with EXACT experience
- Perform multi-task in a caring team environment
- Provide support to dentists, surgeons and staff as needed
- Prevent the spread of infection and disease by maintaining a surgically clean work environment

Qualification and skills required
- A positive, friendly attitude and good time management skills
- Knowledge and understanding of current infection control guidelines and standards
- Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and problem solve
- Strong communication skills and ability to add value to the team
- Certificate III of Dental Assisting or equivalent will be held in high regard
- Minimum 3 years of relevant dental chairside experience in general dental practice

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Dental reception: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)
