Dental Assistant for our Specialist Orthodontic Practice

Excited to be part of a growing and caring company with a successful team?

Working closely with our in house Specialist Orthodontist across our two clinics, you will performing a range of orthodontic care tasks with your focus on patient care.

While based at our Toukley Clinic, you will be required to work at our Wahroonga clinic (1 day/fortnight).

At Coombe Ortho we are expanding and want to add to our lovely team. This position will suit a bubbly, positive, self motivated professional.

The permanent part time position from 24 - 34 hours week, creating work/life balance.

**Your role**:

- Providing support to a Specialist Orthodontist and team
- Providing superior patient care and attention to detail
- Clinical room set up and cleaning
- Reception duties

**You will have the following attributes**:

- Ability to work as part of a high-functioning team
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently
- Superior communication around oral health and within a busy team environment
- Ability to multitask and work well in a busy environment
- Be understanding and effectively communicate with patients in a friendly and empathetic manner

**To be considered you will have the following attributes**:

- Ability to follow instructions and show initiative
- Experience with orthodontics advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, friendly personality to work within this specialised, team orientated environment
- Excellent clinical skills are a must, as well as a commitment to providing excellent oral health
- Professional and well spoken
- Orthodontic experience would be highly regarded, however General Dental or Medical experience will be valuable

The successful applicant will be able to show initiative, reliability, be willing to learn and multi-task in a fast paced environment.

The clinics opening hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5.30pm.

Travel to Wahroonga 1 hour north of Sydney.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 - 32 per week

**Salary**: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Dental Assistants: 1 year (preferred)
- Dental assistance: 1 year (preferred)
