
Policy Advisor

**In the role of Policy Advisor some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Researching, analysing and developing policy, legislative, and business solutions.
Preparing a range of official government documentation.
Providing evidence-based, logical and timely advice to internal and external Stakeholders.
Developing and maintaining effective networks, and consulting and negotiating with internal and external customers, interest groups, other government agencies and the general public.
Coordinating activities or projects to ensure the effective delivery of policy outcomes.
To be successful in the role you will need to:
Manage your own time and deliver work within agreed milestones.
Write well in a range of forms, with clear and concise communication skills.
Conduct detailed and accurate research and analysis on a range of road safety and legislative topics.
Work well in a team and with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
