- Risk Management Specialist
A great opportunity to join a major APAC organisation, driving and leading national Compliance and Risk Management to a large Facilities Management Division supporting key clients within the Government, Resources, Utilities, Tertiary Education, Aged Care, Business and Industry sectors.
You will need to come from a Risk Management / Mitigation background, ideally having completed formal tertiary qualifications in Business Management or Accounting as well as training in International Standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 18001) and ideally 31000. You would have ideally held a holistic role overseeing Corporate Risk Management for 5+ years; with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Key to this role is driving engagement with a large and diverse workforce; along with understanding the risks posed by direct and sub-contract workers, a large and diverse range of premises users; numerous external organisations and a wide-ranging client-base with premises across A/NZ.
**Duties**:
- Review and enhance existing Risk Registers, and then maintain and update as necessary.
- Review existing policies and procedures and adapt as required to ensure best practice is followed.
- Identify and assess potential risks to the organisation.
- Ensure that any Legislative and Regulatory changes are applied and implemented.
- Undertake staff training presentations and workshops.
- Utilising data and analytics to drive decisions around Corporate Risk Management Strategies.
Qualifications / Criteria
- Degree in Business Management or Accounting
- 5+ Years’ experience in Risk and Compliance Management.
- Prior experience across ISO9001, 14001, 18001 is required, 33001 experience an advantage.
- Full permanent Australian Work Rights and Driver’s Licence and ability to pass a National Police Check.
