**Your New Opportunity**:
A **Full-time **opportunity has arisen for a Leading Hand - On Highway to join our warm and friendly Team **located in Edinburgh, SA.** This is a vital role for a passionate individual to Lead our On Highway Team as we continually strive to deliver an outstanding level of service to our customers.

**What you will do**:

- General supervision of and responsibility of workshop repairs in the On Highway area that aim to meet customer schedules and maximise resource availability and capability.
- General supervision and control of the product repairs associated with other franchises covered by the Penske Australia business model.
- Lead and coach technicians in repair routines promoting safety and quality in all aspects of the workshop environment providing input into training and development areas.
- Promote productivity and efficiency improvements with all technicians to maximise profitability and efficiency with a focus on customer satisfaction by way of working towards achieving customer schedules for return of vehicles.
- Provide assistance, as appropriate to support other departments and branches within Penske Australia and New Zealand.
- Undertake internal and external training as required to support ongoing personal and professional development.
- Role model the Penske Values and Behaviours and the Code of Ethical Conduct, which supports our values and underpins our day-to-day behaviours.

**About you**:

- 5 years minimum experience in the Heavy Vehicle or Engine business.
- Sound technical knowledge and expertise in Series 60, MTU and Allison Product lines.
- Knowledge of industry/locality and a genuine passion and drive to motivate the team.
- Appropriate Trade qualification.
- Effective time management, leadership, and supervisory skills.
- Understanding of labour sales, labour costs, gross margin, expenses and other financial ratios.
- Ability to work with computer systems.
