Role Overview

We are seeking motivated and practical Leading Hands to supervise site teams, coordinate resources, and ensure major civil infrastructure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

What You Need

  • Certificate III in Civil Construction (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Leading Hand on major civil infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Hands-on, practical, and safety-focused
  • Pipelaying and shoring experience highly regarded
  • Current driver's licence
  • Experience in heavy plant operation with RII tickets (e.g., Excavator, Loader, Roller, Grader)

What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading and supervising site teams, subcontractors, and plant operators
  • Planning and allocating labour, materials, and plant resources efficiently
  • Monitoring project progress, budgets, and OHS & environmental compliance
  • Ensuring works meet client quality expectations
  • Maintaining accurate daily records and reporting non-conformances
  • Mentoring your team and supporting a collaborative, positive site culture
