Job Description Summary

Service Stream is looking for an Asset Co-ordinator to join their team in Melbourne
About the Role

The role is responsible for the day to day administration and management of all passenger, light & heavy commercial vehicles, trailers, yellow goods, and other miscellaneous mobile plant and equipment (“assets”), owned, leased or hired by Service Stream Limited and it’s subsidiaries.

The role has a key focus is on safety, service delivery, and the effective operation the Group’s assets.

Key responsibilities:
OPERATIONAL

Manage day to day operation and performance of the Group’s Assets, including but not limited to:

- Management of asset insurance claims process with internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing asset utilisation via telematics reporting and eliminate unnecessary assets and costs.
- Managing fuel card & e-tag requests, including the establishment if required with external partners.
- Undertake asset hire with external stakeholders as required to meet business requirements.
- Maintain asset databases with changes and updates both internally and externally to ensure accurate records, cost allocation, etc... of assets.
- Facilitate asset maintenance procedures via service due/overdue reporting to ensure ongoing asset fitness for intended purpose, compliance with manufacturer’s / regulatory specifications and OHS guidelines via service due/overdue reporting
- Management of vehicles/asset related infringements and obtaining driver details to nominate via external parties.
- Manage vehicle movements and transport requests via external providers.
- Provide asset related reporting and expenses to the wider business to assist in making informed decisions.
- Ensure the physical protection, security and control of all assets.
- Review, audit and process invoices in accordance with Delegations of Authority.

Experience required
- Demonstrated Admin management activities
- Excellent stakeholder engagement & management skills at all levels, both internally and external.
- A team player who is motivated and can drive outcomes in an inclusive and collaborative manner.
- Knowledge of Asset related compliance and governance requirements /guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience with Light, Heavy Commercial & Plant & Equipment assets
- A service delivery / continuous improvement / problem solving mindset.
